Share your Media with Friends

REMOTV makes it easy to invite friends, share content with other REMOTV users, or send content links to anyone on the internet.

Invite Friends

You can add friends from Channels! or from most of the REMOTV clients. Just search by name and add. A message will be sent to that person and once they accept you will both be able to view any content in your REMOTV libraries which have been shared.

Sharing Content

To share an item or an entire channel, simply right click -> select “Edit” -> select the “Sharing” tab and set to your desired preference. The different access rights are as follows:

• Private – Only you can view this content
• Friends – You and your friends can access this content
• Public – Anyone can access this content (best for posting content on the internet, or sending links to non-REMOTV users)

Accessing a Friend’s Content

Simple. Just go to the “Friends” tab or link, select the friends whose content you want to access, and begin browsing their library. This can be done from all REMOTV clients.
